    Speaking of ASS: this blog needs its own easy-to-remember domain name, and here’s why: I was just accosted on Peck Slip in the Fulton Fish Market area about 10pm by a hipsterish-looking dude in a toboggan hat who pulled his ancient Ford Mustang over in the snow.

    “Dude,” he said, “I’m looking for parking, and I’m trying to remember whether it’s alternate-side suspended tomorrow, and I don’t have a cell phone. Can you call 311 for me?”

    I would have told him to check Eye of the Tiger, but he never would have remembered “eyeofthetiger dot wordpress dot com.” So instead I called Eye of the Tiger, but got no answer. So then I did call 311, and the recording gave us the bad news that he wouldn’t be getting any ASS tonight.
